New this year- Supervisor Manual
More than 80% of Brockport students work a part-time job while enrolled at school. The Supervisor Guide was developed as a best practice and will assist with navigating the hiring process, interviewing students, executing performance evaluations, and learning about general guidelines on student employment.
Important Reminders:
- Referrals need to be submitted for each student hired each academic year.
- VP Approval is still needed for temp services hires
- Your role as a supervisor is to help students learn and grow as professionals.
- Students getting hired anywhere on campus or off campus will need acceptable documents for I-9.
