Please welcome Michael Doyle as our interim dean of the School of Business and Management. As announced in a faculty/staff email Aug. 4, Michael has succeeded Dan Goebel, who has returned to the faculty.
Michael brings more than 30 years of management experience to this new role. He retired from his role as Regional President/President of Sales Operations for Entercom in late 2020. Since then, he has founded a media sales consulting company.
He offers these comments to the Brockport community:
“I am excited for the opportunity to continue the growth and success of the SUNY Brockport School of Business and Management. This outstanding School is known throughout New York State for its wonderful faculty and cutting-edge curriculum designed to graduate future leaders in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, International Business and Marketing. Our Masters in Business Administration, Masters in Accounting and our Masters in Public Administration programs provide high quality, affordable options for those wishing an advanced degree. As a proud alum of SUNY Brockport, I am excited for the opportunity to continue to position SUNY Brockport as a leader in public higher education in New York State.”
Michael will serve as interim dean until June 30, 2024. A search for a permanent dean of the School of Business and Management will take place during the 2023-2024 academic year.
