Welcome the New Director of Residential Life/Learning Communities
The Division of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs is excited to welcome Don Bigelow as the new Director of Residential Life/Learning Communities, starting on Thursday, July 21, 2022.
Don most recently served as Associate Director of Business Operations and Systems for Residence Life at Rochester Institute of Technology and brings over 10 years of experience in housing and residential life. Don is a two-time graduate of Brockport, with a master of science degree in Education and a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education.
Reporting to Dr. Lorraine Acker, Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs, Don will be responsible for leading, planning, managing, and directing the Residential Life department including program development for the residential curriculum, residence hall supervision and operations, residential inclusion and leadership development, community standards and safety education programs, and academic programs for the undergraduate residence halls.
