Start the year off right. Read the following tips offered by Parking and Transportation Services.
What’s most important to know about campus parking?
Parking permits are required and will be enforced first day of class. If you have not done so already, buy online now. The permit will be mailed to your home address. You may use the receipt as a parking permit for 10 – business days. Receipts are sent to your Brockport email. Print and place on your car dash. It’s that easy!
Parking will be a challenge due to construction along Residence Drive. Employees and Commuters are encouraged to select the Express Shuttle permit, which allows parking in lot X and utilize the designated shuttle that runs every 15 minutes. More information on campus construction here.
Office Hours
Office hours for fall semester are 7:45 am – 4 pm, Monday – Friday. Exception, Monday, August 22 – Friday, September 2, 7:45 am – 5 pm.

Tips on finding a parking space
Parking demand is exceptionally high during the first two weeks of the fall semester. Construction has certainly added to this challenge. If you did not select the express shuttle permit, plan to arrive to campus early; don’t wait in line for a space; try lots D (Holley St) and V (near SERC); plan to walk 5-7 minutes to your destination. Have a plan in mind for alternative parking if your first preference is full when you arrive. Greeters will be out and about to offer assistance.
