BITS Planned Maintenance - Internet Outages Next Week

BITS has been busy working to perform several critical upgrades to campus systems since the start of summer break. There are still a few maintenance tasks that will be completed next week as noted in the BITS June Newsletter. Please note the outages to expect next week.

Next week BITS will be completing several network maintenance tasks, below is a list of what to expect for each date:

  • July 9, 2022, from 7:30– 10 am – Firewall and VPN Updates – Intermittent VPN, Network, Internet, and Service outages possible during this time.
  • July 11, 2022, from 6:30 – 8 am – Dailey Data Center Network Upgrade – Intermittent Network, Internet, and Service outages are possible during this time.
  • July 12, 2022, from 6:30 – 8 am – Tuttle Data Center Network Upgrade – Intermittent Network, Internet, and Service outages are possible during this time.
  • July 13, 2022, from 6:30 – 8 am – Wi-Fi System Reboot – Intermittent Wi-Fi, network, and VPN outages will occur during this time.
  • July 14, 2022, from 6:30 – 8 am – Internet Router and VPN Updates– Intermittent VPN, Network, Internet, and Service outages are possible during this time.
  • July 15, 2022, from 6:30 – 8 am – Switch Reboots – Intermittent Wi-Fi, network, and VPN outages will occur during this time.
  • July 16, 2022, from 8 am – 5 pm – Switch Reboots – Intermittent Wi-Fi, network, and VPN outages will occur during this time.
