The hosting rights mark the first time in program history that the Golden Eagles will host NCAA Baseball Tournament action. The tournament will be held this weekend starting Friday, May 20, 2022.

The nationally-ranked No. 22 Brockport baseball team earned an at-large bid into the NCAA Division III Baseball Championships and will host a four team regional Friday-Sunday at the Clark V. Whited Baseball Complex. The opening game of the double-elimination regional tournament will feature Wheaton (MA) vs. Johnson & Whales University (Providence) on Friday at 10 am. Game two on Friday will feature Baldwin Wallace and Brockport at 1:30 pm.

Day two of the regional will feature three contests at 8:30 am, 12 pm, and 3:30 pm (two teams will be eliminated by the end of day two). Day three will begin at 11 am where a Brockport regional champion will be crowned. The regional champion will then move onto the Super Regionals at a non-predetermined site for a best of three series on May 27-28. The Division III World Series will take place June 3 - 7/8 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

The Golden Eagles recently finished as the runner-up at the SUNYAC Conference Tournament and currently holds a record of 33-9 overall. They entered this past weekend’s tournament as the No. 3 seed, defeating Plattsburgh and Oswego on their way to the tournament championship game against Cortland. Brockport’s 33 wins are the second-most in program history.
Brockport also recently landed four student-athletes on the SUNYAC All-Conference First Team in a release by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
