Art Professor Heads to Arizona for Solo Exhibit
Jennifer Hecker, Department of Art, is heading to Oracle, Arizona (outside of Tucson) for a solo exhibition opening on International Sculpture Day and a three week artist residency.
Her solo exhibition opens on April 30, 2022, to coincide with International Sculpture Day in the Adobe Gallery at Art Ranch. This exhibition consists of 12 sculptures from the last three years. In addition, Hecker will reside at the ranch for three weeks, during which time she will be collaborating on an outdoor sculpture with the director of the Triangle L Ranch, Sharon Holnback.
This residency and exhibition is part of Hecker’s sabbatical activity and is being supported by a UUP Individual Development Award and the Faculty Scholarship Account.
