Tips Related to Parking & Transportation

Read the following tips offered by Parking and Transportation Services at SUNY Brockport.

What’s most important to know about campus parking?

Parking permits are required Monday – Thursday 2 am – 7 pm, Friday 2 am – 5 pm. If you have purchased a full year permit or a spring 2022 permit, the permit will expire August 19, 2022. So be sure to keep your permit, should you visit campus over the summer months.

Visitor Services – Hosting an event, clinic, camp, etc.

Guests and visitors are required to obtain a parking permit, even in the summer. In most instances, payment is required. Several options are provided for casual guests– meter, pay station, ParkMobile payment app. Departments may also pre-order and pre-pay by completing the Mach form found online.  Plan ahead and allow for us to help you coordinate.  Complete this form well in advance.

If hosting an off campus group – please visit us online to brush up on the policies; complete this form and a PTS representative will follow up. Please be sure the form is submitted well in advance of the visit.

Don’t let your guest/visitor get caught with a citation — plan ahead and inform them to ensure a positive experience!

Resident Students

Closest parking in lots A and C is reserved for those with a yellow permit.

Purple permits are issued to Townhome resident students.
