Environmental Science & Ecology Professor Emeritus Published Peer-Reviewed Paper

Dr. Douglas Wilcox, Professor Emeritus in the Department of Environmental Science and Ecology, co-authored a paper in Aquatic Ecosystem Health and Management.

The primary goal of this study was to develop a raster-based wetland vegetation condiction indicator that used airborne hyperspectral imagery-derived data to estimate plant-community quality (via wetland classification and Coefficient of Conservatism) and vegetation biomass (estimated using the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index).
