Environmental Science & Ecology Professor Presented at Great Lakes Committee Meeting

Dr. Jacques Rinchard was invited to present an update of his research on thiamine deficiency at the Biannual Great Lakes Fish Health Committee Meeting held virtually on Feb. 1, 2022.

Established in 1973, the Great Lakes Fish Committee serves as the instrument of the Great Lakes Fishery Commission for coordination of regional efforts in the Great Lakes to present the introduction and dissemination of communicable fish diseases.

The presentation, co-authored by graduate students Thomas Blowers and Brian Lantry from the USGS Lake Ontario Biological Station, provided an update on lake trout thiamine deficiency in the Great Lakes region.
