Migrant Education Project Administrative Assistant Position Available

A Research Foundation for SUNY position with the Migrant Education Program is accepting applications.

The New York State Migrant Education Program is a Title I, Part C federally mandated program that provides supplemental educational services to the children of migratory agricultural workers. The NYS-MEP utilizes a multifaceted and interdependent approach of subject content and instruction, advocacy to self-advocacy, and positive identity development that is grounded in the trusting migrant educator-student-parent relationship. The administrative assistant provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office and program, should be professional, polite, and attentive while also being accurate.  They should always be prepared and responsive, willing to meet each challenge directly, with a genuine desire to assist and serve others.
