Walk!Bike!Brockport!2021 Erie Canalway Challenge Results

This year, the Walk!Bike!Brockport! Action Group hosted an inaugural challenge within the Erie Canalway Challenge. 19 individuals from the greater Brockport community participated in the challenge over the course of the Erie Canal’s open season.

This year, the Walk!Bike!Brockport! Action Group hosted an inaugural challenge within the Erie Canalway Challenge. Nineteen (19) individuals from the greater Brockport community participated in the challenge over the course of the Erie Canal’s open season. Participants chose their own individualized mileage goal, from 1 mile, 15 miles, 90 miles, 180 miles, or 360 miles, to cycle, walk, run, roll, and/or paddle along the Canal. All individuals committed and completed miles counted toward the group’s collective goals.

End of the Season Results (October 31):

  • 3,810 miles collectively committed
  • 3,874.07 miles COMPLETED by individuals – The group surpassed the goal by 64 miles!

Participants who completed their individual goal received a Canalway Challenge certificate of recognition and merchandise.

Walk!Bike!Brockport! anticipates hosting another Erie Canalway challenge within a challenge next year! Please join us.
