Our monthly series visits a popular eatery in the Village of Brockport.

Every great college town needs a great diner. Located on the corner of Main St. and Erie St. in the Village of Brockport, the Brockport Diner has offered just that.

For more than 50 years, the Mitrousis family has been serving locals – including generations of SUNY Brockport students – breakfast, lunch, and dinner. But especially breakfast, often at all hours of the day.

John Mitrousis, the diner’s manager, says the most popular menu item is the Breakfast Trio – your choice of three pancakes or pieces of French toast, three eggs (any style), breakfast meat, and your choice of home fries or hash browns.

“It’s a lot of food,” Mitrousis says. “So get ready.”

The Brockport Diner is open from 6 am until 8 pm Monday through Saturday and from 6 am until 3 pm on Sunday.
