Brockport 2021 SEFA Campaign Ends Tomorrow
Support any local charity of your choice through the United Way to join your Brockport colleagues in making a positive impact for those in need in the Greater Rochester community.
There are only two days left to make your gift count by supporting this year’s SEFA Campaign. Don’t like donating online? Reach out to your SEFA Contacts below to receive a paper pledge form.
SUNY Brockport proudly supports the State Employees Federated Appeal (SEFA), a single combined charitable giving campaign for employees of New York State. There are several thousand agencies under the ‘SEFA Umbrella’. Employees are able to direct their contribution to a specific charity of their choice through the SEFA Campaign.
The United Way of Greater Rochester serves as the manager of the Greater Rochester SEFA campaigns and acts as a secure fiduciary entity/processing center for all State contributions.
You have most likely had contact with at least one SEFA agency. From swimming lessons at local YMCA/YWCA facilities to Red Cross CPR to knowing someone who has participated in Special Olympics, shopping at local Goodwill retail stores, or needed a food pantry when going through difficult times, almost all of our lives have been touched by these worthy organizations. You may have found a furry family member at Lollypop Farm Humane Society of Greater Rochester or brought your kids to The Strong Museum. Your co-workers may have received job training from a SEFA charity, or you, or family or friends, may have volunteered for some of the charities and you know about the services they provide.
Please consider donating to the SEFA Campaign, and showing our Brockport Generosity to an organization of your choice in the Rochester community. These organizations need our help to continue doing the work they do to support those in need in our community. Let’s keep our community strong, together.
Those who donate to the SEFA Campaign will receive a special gift as a show of appreciation for your support. Stay tuned and donate to find out what it will be!
Please contact Emily Teator or Brittany Lang if you have any questions.
Thank you for your support!
