Seeking Student Conduct Board Members

Title IX and Student conduct are seeking faculty and staff members to serve on the Student Conduct Board for the 2021-2022 year.

Student Conduct Board members serve an important role for SUNY Brockport, upholding community standards for the college campus in Title IX Grievance Policy and Student Conduct hearings.

Board members may serve on 1-2 board hearings over an academic year. In a board hearing you will; review case materials in a thorough manner, hear statements from both parties and witnesses, consider all evidence presented, then deliberate with other members on the board to determine whether there was a violation of the Title IX Grievance Policy or Code of Student Conduct.

In-person Student Conduct Board Training will be held on Wednesday, August 11 and Thursday, August 12 from 8:30 am-12 pm. Attendance for both days is required to be considered for board hearings during the upcoming year.

If you cannot attend training on these days, but still want to serve on the board - please complete the form. The Student Conduct Office will follow up to discuss additional training opportunities. Our location has not been confirmed yet. More details will be sent closer to the date of training.

Thank you so much! If you have any questions, please email Dan Greer, Director of Student Conduct
